Gettin' Ready

Throughout the last week or so I have been putting my lists together, dialing in my gear, organizing, and just piling it all up to get ready for the 24 Hour World Championships.

We will load up my big rig and head 800+ miles directly north to Canmore, AB, Canada. If we convert fuel to calories, who will burn more this trip?

We, being me and my support. T-race and friend Chris will be taking care of me so I never stop. This is the first time I will have the attention of two people. "T" has done this before for me by herself and does a great job but is usually wiped out and just a lot to handle for one person. With Chris joining us we now have a mechanic, somebody else to help, and a hanging buddy to talk with or rotate naps with. The crew is as important as my performance. Thanks for you sacrifice.

I will also be bringing/riding my full suspension Orbea Oiz.

I feel pretty good mentally and physically. This is the most support I have ever had in a 24 hour event with my two support people, two bikes, and plenty of gear and supplies from all the partners and friends. This just ups the confidence a bit more. Well it's time to hit the road. I am definitly nervous and excited.

You should be able to follow "live" through the link above. Look under "rider profiles" and "ADENILINElive".
